1477 Flakaliden: long-term nutrient optimization for ecosystem carbon accumulation and biomass production

Created 2019-06-26 10:02:52 and last modified 2025-10-29 19:06:42 CET

Summary

We determine tree growth and carbon accumulation in response to 40-year-annual optimal fertilization. Tree nutrition has been managed based on annual detection of foliar nutrients and corresponding fertilization treatment. Aboveground carbon accumulation is determined by standing biomass changes + mortality, and belowground carbon accumulation is determined by changes of soil carbon stock and root biomass.
